10 injured in Dadeldhura bus accident

DADELDHURA: OCT. 31 – Ten persons have been injured when a bus heading to Mahendranagar from Darchula met with an accident near Ghanteshwor Temple in Aalitaal Rural Municipality-1.

According to the District Police Office, Dadeldhura, the bus (Na 8 Kha 6132) fell about 100 meters from the road. The bus was carrying 32 passengers. The injured are being brought to Dhangadhi for treatment.

The injured have been identified as Kirma Oad, 45, Ramchi Oad, 50, of Dilashani Rural Municipality-6, Baitadi, Mansingh Karki, 32, of Dogdakedar Rural Municipality-8, Devdatta Joshi, 30, of Dogdakedar-6, Prakash Bista, 35, Keshavdatta Joshi and Chandra Bahadur Bista, 30, of Purchaudi Municipality-10 according to police.

Details of the incident as well as details of the other three injured are yet to be known, police said.
