KATHMANDU: OCT. 31 – Liverpool have been held to a draw by London club Arsenal in the English Premier League. Arsenal beat Leicester City 2-0 on Saturday.

Gabriel and Emile Smith Rowe scored a goal each in Arsenal’s win. Arsenal scored both goals in the first half. The first goal was scored by Gabriel in the fifth minute of the game and the second goal was scored by Rowe in the 18th minute of the game.

With this victory, Arsenal have 17 points from 10 games and have risen to fifth place in the table. Leicester City have 14 points from 10 games and have dropped to 10th place in the league.

Unable to maintain a two-goal lead in the next game, Liverpool drew 2-2 with Brighton at home. Liverpool equalized in the fourth minute when Jordan Henderson and Sadio Mane scored in the 24th minute to give Brighton a 2-0 lead.

The first goal for Brighton was scored by Enock Mwepu in the 41st minute and Leandro Trossard equalized in the 65th minute.

After the draw, Liverpool have 22 points from 10 games and are second in the league. Brighton have 16 points from 10 games and are sixth in the league.
