Petroleum price hike, cooking gas Rs 50 more expensive
KATHMANDU: OCT. 30 – Nepal Oil Corporation has increased the price of all types of fuel. The corporation has increased the prices of cooking gas, petrol, diesel, kerosene and aviation fuel.
Petrol, diesel and kerosene prices have been increased by Rs 3 and Rs 3 per litre with effect from 12 am last night, said Pushkar Karki, co-spokesperson of the corporation. According to the new price list, petrol is priced at Rs 133 per liter, diesel and kerosene at Rs 116 and Rs 116 per liter, respectively.
The previous selling price of aviation fuel has been increased by Rs 10 to Rs 96 per liter. The corporation has increased the price of LP gas for cooking by Rs 50 per cylinder. The new retail price of gas has been fixed at Rs 1,500.
After the price adjustment, the corporation’s 15-day loss will be Rs 1.87 billion.
