PSP Dhankuta delegation reaches ministries for the district’s development
ITAHARI: OCT. 29 – A 7-member delegation of People’s Socialist Party (PSP) of Dhankuta has approached six federal ministries drawing the concern for the district’s development. According to Lilaraj Lawati, the PSP Chair of Sangurigadhi of Dhankuta, members of the delegation included the former minister and the Executive Member of PSP Rakam Chemjong, Central Member Arjun Thapa, among others.
The delegation has drawn the attention of the Ministry of Forest and Environment, Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development, Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport, Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Ministry of Urban Development and Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration.
”We have met concerned ministers and secretaries of the ministry and have drawn their attention to Dhankuta’s major and urgent development concerns like speedy repairing of Koshi highway affected by Leuti rivulet floods, development of tourism infrastructures at Bhedetar and other touristic areas of the district and provision of lasting solutions to the natural calamities in the district”, informed Lawati.
He added, ”We got positive nod and commitment from all ministers and secretaries. Now, we are expecting the translation of their pledges into real actions on the grounds of Dhankuta.”
