PM Deuba leaves for UK to participate in COP26 [Photos]

KATHMANDU: OCT. 29 – Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has left for the United Kingdom today leading the Nepali delegation to the World leaders Summit of the 26th Conference of Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP26).

He was bade farewell by Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand, Minister for Foreign Affairs Narayan Khadka, Minister for Communications and Information Technology Gyanendra Bahadur Karki, Vice President of Nepali Congress Bimalendra Nidhi, Chief Secretary Shankar Das Bairagi, high-ranking government officials and security chiefs at the Tribhuvan International Airport.

Prime Minister Deuba will attend the inauguration ceremony of COP26 on November 1. He is scheduled to address the World Leaders Summit on behalf of Nepal.
