Free health camp of KMC in Ramechhap, 11 hundred patients benefited

RAMECHHAP: OCT. 29 – Kathmandu Medical College at Sinamangal in Kathmandu has conducted a free health camp at Sunapati in Ramechhap on Thursday. In collaboration with the Subba Singh Memorial Foundation at Sunapati-4, KMC, KMC has conducted a one-day free health camp at Krishnapuri Secondary School, Rupakot.

Narayan Dahal, general manager of KMC, informed that 1,165 patients were given free health check-ups at the camp. According to Dahal, blood tests of 256 patients, video X-rays of 195 patients and ECG of 155 patients have been done in the camp.

Similarly, 143 patients who could not be treated in the camp have been referred for operation. Specialists in General Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Pediatrics, Orthopedics and Nervous Diseases, Skin and Sexually Transmitted Diseases, Otolaryngology, Ophthalmology and Dental Diseases were tested free of cost at the camp.

Earlier, KMC had conducted a two-day free health camp at Duwakot in Bhaktapur. A total of 1,662 patients were treated at the camp free of cost.
