Responsibility of acting minister to Home Minister Khand

KATHMANDU: OCT. 29 – Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has given the responsibility of acting prime minister to Bal Krishna Khand. Prime Minister Deuba has given the responsibility of acting prime minister to Nepali Congress leader Khand, who is also the home minister.

Prime Minister Deuba is leaving for the United Kingdom on Friday for a year-long foreign trip. PM Deuba, who is the next senior minister, has given the responsibility of acting minister to Home Minister Khand.

Prime Minister Deuba is leaving for the United Kingdom today for the 26th World Leaders Summit of the United Nations Framework Convention on Development and Cooperation (COP26) to be held in Glasgow, United Kingdom. He is scheduled to return home on November 4.
