Here is the weather for three days: from rain to snow

KATHMANDU: OCT. 29 – Temperatures are falling across the country, including the Kathmandu Valley. It is colder today as compared to Wednesday and Thursday.

According to Shanti Kandel, a meteorologist at the Department of Water and Meteorology, the minimum temperature in Kathmandu was measured at 12.4 degrees Celsius at 6 am. It was measured at 12.7 degrees Celsius on Thursday.

At present, the hilly and mountainous areas of the country are partly cloudy and the rest of the country is generally clear. According to the Weather Forecast Division, Nepal does not have a significant weather system at present.

Afternoon: Partly cloudy in the hilly areas of the country and generally clear in the rest of the country. There is a possibility of light rain in one or two places in hilly terrain and light snow in one or two places in high hilly and mountainous terrain.

Night: The weather will be generally clear in the rest of the country with partial cloud cover in the hilly areas of the country. Light snow is expected in one or two places in the high hills and mountains.

Saturday

Afternoon: Partly cloudy in the hilly areas of the country and generally clear in the rest of the country. There is a possibility of light rain in one or two places in hilly terrain and light snow in one or two places in high hilly and mountainous terrain.

Night: The weather will be generally clear in the rest of the country with partial cloud cover in the hilly areas of the country. There is a possibility of light rain in one or two places of the hilly terrain of State 1 and Gandaki, while there is a possibility of light snowfall in one or two places of high hilly and mountainous terrain.

Sunday

Afternoon: There will be partial to normal cloud cover in State 1, Bagmati State and Gandaki State and partial cloud cover in the rest of the country. There is a possibility of light rain in one or two places of State 1, Bagmati State and Gandaki State, while there is a possibility of light snowfall in one or two places of high hilly and mountainous terrain.
