Share market rose by 13 points, with a turnover of Rs 5.5 billion
KATHMANDU: OCT. 28 – The stock market is also on the rise on the fifth day of the week. However, the market has seen modest growth these days. On this day, the share market index (NEPSE) has increased by 13.04 points and reached 2782.16 points. The Sensitive Index also rose by 4.42 points to 520.98 points.
The market, which has been rising by double digits since Sunday of the week, had risen by 27 points on Sunday. The market, which had rebounded on Monday and Tuesday, had risen by a modest number on Wednesday. On Thursday, the last day of the year, the market also saw a modest increase.
The transaction amount has also decreased on Thursday. The market’s turnover on Thursday, which was around Rs 6.5 billion on Wednesday, has also come down by nearly Rs 1 billion.
A total of 92,36,613 shares of 222 companies were traded at Rs 5,395,268,628 on the day.
On this day, the share price of 3 companies has risen more than 9 per cent to 10 per cent.
Shares of Banking, Trading, Hotel and Tourism, Manufacturing and Production, Life Insurance, Mutual Fund and other groups declined on the day.
