Swar appointed as independent director of NIC Asia Bank

KATHMANDU: OCT. 28 – Bijaya Swar has been appointed as an independent director of NIC Asia Bank.

Swar has more than 30 years of work experience in various banks and financial sectors in Nepal, the bank said. Swar was administered the oath of office and secrecy by Tulsi Ram Agrawal, chairman of the bank’s board of directors.

A graduate of the Asian Institute of Management in the Philippines, she started her banking career in 1986 as a branch office at the Agriculture Development Bank. She retired from the post of Deputy General Manager in 2016.
