Coalition has not discussed the issue of impeachment of the Chief Justice: Nepal

DHANGADHI: OCT. 28 – Chairman of the CPN-Unified Socialist Madhav Kumar Nepal has said that there was no discussion in the ruling coalition on the impeachment of Chief Justice Cholendra Shamsher JB Rana.

Speaking at a press conference in Dhangadhi on Thursday, Chairman Nepal said that there was no discussion in the ruling coalition about the impeachment of Chief Justice JB Rana. He said, “Even though the judges are in agitation demanding the resignation of the Chief Justice, there has been no discussion within the coalition on the issue of impeachment. The five ruling parties have not even met. ‘

Chairman Nepal said that it was illegal to ask for the resignation of the judges who pronounced the decision to reinstate the House of Representatives.
