Nepal Bangladesh Bank assists Sukraraj Tropical Hospital
KATHMANDU: OCT. 28 – Nepal Bangladesh Bank has provided assistance to Sukraraj Tropical and Communicable Diseases Hospital, Teku.
Hand in hand in an effort to protect the Nepali people from the infection of COVID-19 and its possible deaths, Nepal Bangladesh Bank Limited has provided 90 vials of remedial medicine to Sukraraj Tropical & Infectious Disease Hospital, Teku as part of its corporate social responsibility.
The medicine was handed over by Nepal Bangladesh Bank Limited Chief Executive Officer Gyanendra Dhungana to Dr Anup Bastola, Director of Sukraraj Tropical and Communicable Diseases Hospital.
The bank has selected the hospital in appreciation of the work done by Sukraraj Tropical and Communicable Diseases Hospital at a time of high risk of infection with COVID-19.
The Bank, in collaboration with its Bangladesh-based partner bank, IFIC Bank Limited, provided 5,000 Vials in the Fiscal Year 2076/77 and 5,000 Vials in the Fiscal Year 2078/78 as assistance to the Government of Nepal.
