UML called a standing committee meeting

KATHMANDU: OCT. 28 – CPN-UML has convened a standing committee meeting. The meeting was called at 4 pm at the Tulsilal Memorial Foundation in Chyasal.
Secretary of the party office Sher Bahadur Tamang informed that the meeting will discuss issues including a review of the ward and municipal conventions. UML has held conventions in more than 6,000 wards and more than 600 municipalities.
UML has stated that the convention of the remaining wards and municipalities will end in Kartik (Oct/Nov). The 10th National General Convention of the CPN-UML is being held in Chitwan from November 26 to 28. It is understood that the meeting will also discuss the general convention.
