Oli’s remarks: ‘The system is being attacked in the name of alliance’
BIRATNAGAR: OCT. 26 – CPN (UML) Chairman and former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that the entire system is being attacked in the name of alliance. Describing the coalition as a “short-lived one”, Oli remarked that they were trying to thwart the system.
Oli has alleged that various state machinery has been mobilized for that. “Or to make the system fail, we have to weaken various organs and government bodies procedurally to make the system fail,” Oli said.
Oli said that the government has not been able to complete its work for three months and even then the government has not moved in a positive direction. “Even the parliament has not been able to do anything,” Oli said.
Oli has alleged that the main opposition party of the country’s largest party like UML has staged a protest by jumping from the window, jumping from the window, entering through the corridor and entering through the back door. Oli also said that the speaker could not formulate the same standard in the House of Representatives. “When we take action against our MPs for undisciplined action, the speaker takes the letter from the door and sticks it,” Oli said. “The same speaker came when the UML sent the letter. He says that we are considering Biratnagar, contrary to the constitution, law and the rules of the House of Representatives.
At a press conference organized by Press Chautari Nepal in Biratnagar on Tuesday, he accused the speaker of imposing arbitrariness in the House of Representatives, acting as a party worker and not as a speaker.
On another occasion, Oli said that the court should be raised as a place of trust for the people. He said that the UML would not get involved in the activities taking place inside the court. Pointing to the politics of the Supreme Court, Oli said, “The Supreme Court must be trusted by the people and kept as a credible and important part of the state.” That is not happening. We must not fall into deception. Don’t get involved in indecent factions within the Supreme Court. We don’t have to deal with the tension inside. “
