Eleven Afghan nationals arrested in Sinamangal

KATHMANDU: OCT. 25 – Eleven Afghan nationals have been arrested from Sinamangal in Kathmandu. According to Central Bureau of Investigation spokesperson Shyam Kumar Mahato, they were arrested at 10:30 am on Monday.

Spokesperson Mahato said that they were kept in the office of the Bureau of Investigation. Spokesperson Mahato said that further investigation is underway to find out what will happen to them.

He said that Aadhaar cards of India were also recovered from six of the arrested persons. Police have found that the recovered Indian Aadhaar card was fake.

It is said that after the Taliban leadership took power in Afghanistan, they fled and entered Nepal through India. They were found to have entered Nepal from Belahiya on the Nepal-India border in Rupendehi.
