BIRGUNJ: OCT. 22 – Seven youths from Bahudarmai Municipality of Parsa, who had gone to Dubai for foreign employment, have returned home after being rescued. On the initiative of Nitendra Sah, the mayor of Bahudarmai, the youths who were stranded in Dubai were sent home safely.

Mayor Sah has repatriated Harishankar Thakur, Pradip Kumar, Prakash Prasad, Babuchan Paswan, Basistha Hazara, Mukesh Sah and Ram Ayodhya Kurmi on their own initiative.

The youth had gone to Dubai some time ago for foreign employment on a tourist visa through agent Surendra Yadav. After contacting mayor Sah, who was on a visit to Dubai, he informed them about his problem and he returned to Nepal through Sah’s efforts.

Mayor Sah said, “My trip to Dubai was for seven days, but when I found out about the youths, I shortened the visit to three days. The youths have been rescued and sent home.”

When Mayor Sah found out that the youths of his own village were stranded in Dubai on his Dashain holiday, he shortened his visit and rescued them and threw them home. Mayor Sah said he would take initiative to repatriate four youths from his village who were still stranded in Dubai.
