Home Minister instructs security forces to rescue stranded tourists

KATHMANDU: OCT. 21 – Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand has directed to immediately rescue the stranded foreign nationals/tourists due to floods, landslides and inundation after continuous rains. Home Minister Khad this morning (Thursday) directed the Nepal Police, Armed Police Force, National Investigation Department and Nepal Army to rescue the foreign nationals/tourists trapped in the disaster.

‘We are continuing to search, rescue, rehabilitate and distribute relief to the Nepali citizens who have been affected by the floods and landslides after the continuous rains. Now there are reports of foreign nationals/tourists visiting Nepal and flooding, landslides and inundation. Please pay special attention to their rescue, ‘said Home Minister Khan during the directive.

It has been reported that tourists have been stranded due to the rains.
