Kasthamandap getting ready [Photos]

KATHMANDU: OCT. 21 – The ancient heritage of Kasthamandap is being reconstructed. The Kasthamandap at Maru Tole in Basantapur, Kathmandu was destroyed by an earthquake in 2072 BS.

The Kasthamandap of historical significance is being reconstructed in its original form. The National Reconstruction Authority, Kathmandu Metropolitan City and others have provided assistance for this.

The Reconstruction Committee has stated that Gajur will be installed in the upper part of the temple after the completion of the reconstruction work.
