Govt to provide Rs. 5 lakh to each member of SAFF finalist team

KATHMANDU: OCT. 18 – The finalist team of the SAFF championship will each get Rs 5 lakh. The government has decided to give them Rs 5 lakh each.

According to government spokesperson and Information Minister Gyanendra Bahadur Karki, the decision was taken at a meeting held on Monday. “They get Rs 5 lakh each,” Karki told a news conference.

The government has also decided to provide Rs. 3 lakh each to coaches. In the final match played last Saturday, Nepal lost 3-0 to India. After this, Nepal was included in the finalist.
