National football team, finalist of SAFF returns home [Photos]

KATHMANDU: OCT. 18 – Nepali national football team, the finalist team of the SAFF Championship Football, has returned home.

The Nepali team, which arrived at Tribhuvan Airport on Monday, was welcomed by Sports Minister Maheshwar Gahatraj, All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) Vice President Upendraman Singh and others.

A large number of football supporters also arrived at the airport to welcome the players. The head coach of the Nepali team Abdullah Al Mutairi and player Rohit Chand did not return to Nepal with the team.

Chand has returned to Indonesia to play in the league while head coach Al Mutairi has not decided whether to come to Nepal or not.
