Nepali football team returning home today

KATHMANDU: OCT. 18 – The Nepali national football team, which became the runner-up of the SAFF Championship, will return home on Monday (today) morning. The Nepali team will arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport at 9 am on Monday, according to the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA).

According to the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA), the national football team will leave Maldives on Sunday and land at Tribhuvan International Airport at 9 am on Monday via Doha, Qatar.

Meanwhile, the head coach of the Nepali team Abdullah Almutairi has requested to give a grand welcome to the team. He said that the team should be welcomed if it is to be proud of the performance of the Nepali team and encourage them to do the same again.

He said that emphasis should be laid on the development of football rather than coaches and football associations.
