Cloudy with snow across the country

KATHMANDU: OCT. 18 – It is changing all over the country now. According to the Meteorological Department, low-pressure systems in the Bay of Bengal and Central India (moving north) and the western wind system have a combined effect on Nepal.

Today
Afternoon: There will be normal to full cloud cover across the country. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunderstorms in many places of Far Western State, Karnali State, Gandaki State and Lumbini State as well as some places in State 1 and Bagmati State and a few places in State 2. There is a possibility of light to moderate snowfall in a few places in the western high hills and mountainous areas of the country and even light snowfall in a few places in the mountainous areas. There is a possibility of heavy rain in one or two places in the Far West and Lumbini.

Night: There will be normal to complete change across the country. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunderstorms in many places of Far Western State, Karnali State and Gandaki State as well as State 1, State 2, Bagmati and Lumbini State. There is a possibility of light to moderate snowfall in some parts of the western and central highlands and mountainous areas of the country and even light snowfall in a few places in the wacky mountainous areas. Heavy rains are also expected in a few places in the Far West, Lumbini and Karnali.
