Deserted Kathmandu on Dashain [Photos]

KATHMANDU: OCT. 13 – As Dashain approaches, the capital Kathmandu has become deserted. Kathmandu has become deserted after around 900,000 people left with the intention of celebrating Dashain.

At present, only a few vehicles and a few people can be seen on the wide roads of Kathmandu. They are celebrating Dashain grandly. Today is Maha Ashtami, special worship of Durga Bhawani is being done.
