Monsoon left Nepal, this is today’s forecast
KATHMANDU: OCT. 12 – This year’s monsoon (rainy weather system) is out of the whole of Nepal. The Department of Water and Meteorology issued a special bulletin on Monday evening stating that the monsoon has left from all parts of the country.
Earlier, last Friday (Oct. 8), the monsoon left only from the far west of Nepal, the entire region of Karnali and the western part of Lumbini state, while the monsoon continued in the rest of the states. “This year’s monsoon, which started from the western part of Nepal’s Far Western State, Karnali State and Lumbini State on Friday (October 8), has left the entire country from today (October 11, 2021),” said the Department of Water and Meteorology. The bulletin says.
According to meteorologists, the average departure date for the monsoon from Nepal is October 2, but this year the monsoon has been delayed for nine days. At the same time, the rainy season has officially ended. According to meteorologists, the onset of monsoon does not mean that there will be no more rain. There will be no more heavy and continuous rain like in the rainy season. Various other systems have the potential for small, transient rainfall.
At present, there is normal cloud cover in the far west, Karnali and Lumbini, while there is partial cloud cover in the rest of the country. According to the Meteorological Department, there is no significant weather system that directly affects the country.
