French Nations League champions defeating Spain

KATHMANDU: OCT. 11 – France wins UEFA Nations League title France beat Spain 2-1 in the final last night to win the League of Nations title.

Karim Benzema and Kylian Mbappe scored a goal each in France’s victory. Mikel Oyarzabal scored a goal for Spain.

In a goalless first half, Spain took the lead in the 64th minute. But in the 66th minute of the game, France returned to the game with a goal. Then in the 80th minute of the game, Mbappe scored the decisive goal to win France.

Earlier in the day, Italy defeated Belgium 2-1 in the same match on Sunday night and secured the third position. Nicolo Barella and Domenico Berardi scored in Italy’s victory. Belgium’s Domenico Berardi returned a goal.
