Four killed, 14 injured in jeep accident in Achham
KATHMANDU: OCT. 11 – Four people have been killed and 14 others injured in a jeep (Se 1 Cha 1763) accident in Achham district. The jeep crashed in Panchadewal Binayak Municipality-1 at around 11:30 last night.
According to Achham Chief District Officer Rudra Bahadur Malla, three persons died on the spot and one died while undergoing treatment. Two persons seriously injured in the accident have been referred to Nepalgunj for further treatment while others are undergoing treatment at the District Hospital, Mangalsen.
The deceased have been identified as Jeevan Jaisi, 18, Sarva Bohara, 18, Jeevan Neupane, 21, and Himal Nepali, 17, of Panchadewal Binayak Municipality-3. The jeep fell about 200 meters uncontrollably while reversing on a dirt road section.
The driver could not be identified as the accident took place at night.
