SAFF Championship: Nepal loses to India
KATHMANDU: OCT. 11 – Nepal has lost to India in the SAFF Championship Football. In Sunday’s match, Nepal lost 1-0 to India.
Captain Sunil Chhetri scored in the 82nd minute to help India win the match held in Maldives.
With this, India has added 5 points in 3 games after winning the tournament for the first time. India has also risen to the third position in the table.
Drawn in the first half, Nepal could not score any goals despite some golden opportunities in the second half. With this win, India has climbed the third position with five points from three games.
