Lumbini State: Newly appointed ministers take oath
KATHMANDU: OCT. 10 – The newly appointed ministers of the Lumbini state government have taken oath of office and secrecy. State Chief Amik Sherchan administered the oath of office to the ministers and ministers of state on Sunday.
Among the ministers who have been sworn in is Bir Bahadur Rana of Palpa, who has become the Minister of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation from the Nepali Congress, Surendra Hamal of Banke who has become the Minister of Forest Environment and Land Conservation and Basiuddin Khan of Rupandehi who has become the Minister of Education, Youth and Sports.
Similarly, Indrajit Tharu of Dang, who became the Minister of Health, Population and Family Welfare from the Maoist Center, and Tilak Ram Sharma of Bardiya, who became the Minister of Internal Affairs and Communications, have also been sworn in.
Similarly, Arjun Kumar Shrestha, Minister of State for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation and Rina Nepal BK, Minister of State for Tourism were sworn in by Congress.
