Formation of 11-member secretariat of Unified Socialists

KATHMANDU: OCT. 8 – The CPN (Unified Socialist) has formed an 11-member central secretariat. The meeting of the standing committee has decided to form the secretariat as the upper body to make necessary decisions as the number of office bearers and a standing committee is large.

The meeting decided to have senior leaders Jhala Nath Khanal, Mukunda Neupane, Rajendra Pandey, Pramesh Hamal, Jayanti Rai, Beduram Bhusal, Jagannath Khatiwada, Bijay Poudel, Prakash Jwala and Ganga Lal Tuladhar in the secretariat headed by Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal.

The meeting also formed a central office under the leadership of General Secretary Beduram Bhusal, said Jagannath Khatiwada, head of the party’s publicity department.
