EPL: Bhairahawa were eliminated

KATHMANDU: OCT. 7  – Pokhara Rhinos have entered the final of the Everest Premier League Cricket EPL. Pokhara maintained its title run by defeating Bhairahawa Gladiators by 7 wickets in a match played at Kirtipur on Thursday.

Pokhara will play with Chitwan on Saturday for the title.

Pokhara reached the target of 120 runs set by Bhairahawa in 18 overs with 2 balls to spare. Sahan Arachchige of Pokhara scored 53 not out and Bipin Rawal scored 40 not out.

Batting first, Bhairahawa lost 6 wickets in 20 overs and scored 119 runs. Bhairahawa captain Sharad Bheshavkar scored 32 not out and Aarif Sheikh scored 27 runs. Similarly, Rohit Poudel (18), Pradip Airee (11) and Upul Tharanga (10) were all out.
