Meeting of the ruling coalition continues
KATHMANDU: OCT. 7 – A meeting of the ruling coalition is underway at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar. The parties are engaged in final preparations for the expansion of the Council of Ministers. The ruling parties are preparing to expand the cabinet as far as possible today.
However, parties other than the Maoist center have not been able to finalize the names of the ministers. Due to this, the expansion of the Council of Ministers is being delayed. However, discussions are said to be concluded from the current meeting.
Leaders including Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, UCPN (Maoist) Central Committee Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal and JSP Chairman Upendra Yadav are holding discussions in Baluwatar.
