CPN (Unified Socialist) president Nepal has right to select minister’s name
KATHMANDU: OCT. 7 – The ruling coalition partner CPN (Unified Socialist) has given the responsibility of finalizing the name of the minister to the chairman and parliamentary party leader Madhav Kumar Nepal. Leader Birodh Khatiwada said that the standing committee meeting held on Thursday (today) had given the responsibility of finalizing the name of the minister to Nepal.
The UCPN (Maoist) has decided to get four ministries. However, sources said that Nepal has expressed dissatisfaction with this number. The issue will be discussed at a meeting of the ruling coalition, a leader said. Leaders have said that the cabinet will be completed today. Before that, a meeting of the ruling coalition is being held. The meeting will also discuss the issue.
The ruling parties have agreed that the Unified Socialists will have four ministers and one minister of state. However, the ministry has not decided yet. It is said that an agreement will be reached in the ongoing ruling coalition in this regard.
