UML central member Bhanubhakta Unified Socialist, given the responsibility of standing committee member
KATHMANDU: OCT. 7 – CPN (UML) central member Bhanubhakta Joshi has joined the CPN (Unified Socialist). Chairman of the Unified Socialist Party Madhav Kumar Nepal has welcomed Joshi who has resigned from the post of UML central member.
Joshi, who left the UML, has been given the responsibility of standing committee member of the Unified Socialists. At the event, Chairman Nepal announced that Joshi has been made a member of the Standing Committee. “He is given the responsibility of the standing committee,” said Chairman Nepal.
He had said that he would elect a unified socialist within the deadline of Sept. 7 given by the Election Commission to the elected representatives of the states and the federation. However, he was still in the UML.
After he joined the UML, the Unified Socialists did not even appoint him in-charge of the Far Western State. In the end, the Unified Socialists made Garima Shah in-charge of the Far Western State. Joshi was in the Nepal-Dahal group when he was in the CPN (Maoist). He later returned to the UML due to infighting within the party.
