KATHMANDU: OCT. 7 – The Tribhuvan University Service Commission is going to conduct the examination in a new advertisement without publishing the results of the examination already taken. By issuing a public notice on Thursday, the commission has fixed the date of the written examination and examination center for 11 different posts.

In the information, the Commission Office has mentioned that the written examination of the technical and administrative posts open and inclusive competition published on December 30, 2020, has been postponed due to various reasons and the examination will be conducted again.

A writ petition has been filed in the Patan High Court alleging that they tried to take the exam in a new advertisement without publishing the results of the old exam.

Similarly, the High Court had issued an interim order on August 25 to conduct the next examination only after publishing the results of the previous examination. However, TU has set a date for the new advertisement without reversing the court’s order.

Ratna Maharjan, who was awaiting the results of the previous exam, said that it was contempt of court for TU to try to take another exam without publishing the results. Maharjan, who is also an officer in the Tribhuvan Service Commission, said that the intention of the commission in this regard was not right.

He claimed that the decision would be contrary to the court’s order even if the results of the old examination were released immediately. “TU is not doing well, the intentions are not good. The court may be closed in Dashain, but we will have to go to court again as soon as it opens,” he said.
