Indians vaccinated against COVID-19 will be allowed to come to Nepal
KATHMANDU: OCT. 7 – Indians who have been vaccinated against both doses of coronavirus will be able to come to Nepal easily. Tourists coming to Nepal through Indian vehicles will be allowed to enter Nepal easily if they show documents proving that they have been vaccinated against both doses of the corona.
The new provision has been implemented by removing the provision of showing PCR reports for 72 hours to come to Nepal. A meeting chaired by Chief District Officer Shivaram Gelal and comprising Banke Police Chief SP Shyam Krishna Adhikari and Chief Customs Officer of Nepalgunj Customs Office Jaya Bahadur Bhandari has decided to allow Indians who have been vaccinated against corona to enter.
According to the Nepalgunj Customs Office, the decision has made it easier for Indians to come to Nepal and the number of Indian vehicles at the Nepalgunj checkpoint has also been reduced.
