Chairman of Himalayan Bank Shrestha takes oath

KATHMANDU: OCT. 6 – Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank Maha Prasad Adhikari administered the oath of office and secrecy to newly appointed Chairman of Himalayan Bank Limited Prachanda Bahadur Shrestha on Wednesday.

Chairman Shrestha was sworn in as the chairman of the bank today. He was welcomed by senior officials of the bank including Ashok Rana, a member of the board of directors and chief executive officer of the bank.

Shrestha was elected as the chairman by the 411th Board of Directors meeting of the bank held on Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2021.
