Janamat Party demanding action against the Chief Minister
JANAKPURDHAM: OCT. 6 – The Janamat Party led by C. K. Raut has cordoned off the Bardibas office of the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority. On Wednesday, Janamat Party leaders and cadres besieged the corrupt protesters demanding action.
It is understood that the Janamat Party has staged a sit-in protest in support of the raid on the office of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers of State 2 last Wednesday.
According to the party, the leaders and cadres of Janamat Party reached Bardibas with placards and banners and drew the attention of the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority to investigate the facts. The protesters demanded, “Take action against the corrupt, resign the corrupt government, what do the Madhesi society people say?” They staged a demonstration with placards with slogans such as “Jail the corrupt” and “Investigate the facts”.
Earlier, the Janamat Party had vandalized and locked the Janakpurdham Sub-Divisional Corporation on Monday.
