Shangri-la Development Bank to give 10 percent bonus share
KATHMANDU: OCT. 6 – Shangri-la Development Bank is going to distribute bonus shares at the rate of 10 percent to its shareholders. The bank has announced to distribute dividends to the share rich from the accumulated profits of the last fiscal year 2077/78.
The decision was taken at a meeting of the bank’s board of directors on Oct. 5. The bank has also stated that it will pay cash dividends at the rate of 0.52 percent for tax purposes of bonus shares.
The bank has stated that the dividend distribution proposal will be passed and distributed by the next general meeting after the NRB approves it.
After the distribution of bonus shares, the bank’s paid-up capital will reach Rs 3 billion 16 million 69 thousand 662 rupees. At present, the paid-up capital of the bank is Rs 2 billion 733.69 million 72 thousand 420 rupees.
