Pokhara set a target of 67 runs against Chitwan
KATHMANDU: OCT. 6 – In the first qualifier of Everest Premier League Cricket (EPL), Pokhara Rhinos have set a target of 67 runs against Chitwan Tigers.
After losing the toss in Kirtipur, Pokhara were bowled out for 66 in 15 overs. Richard Levi’s 19 runs was the highest for Pokhara. Apart from Sunil Dhamala (18) and Sushan Bhari (12), no other batsmen were able to add double figures.
After Sagar Dhakal and Sahib Alam of Chitwan took 4/4 wickets, the batsmen of Pokhara were helpless. The remaining wickets were shared by Sompal Kami and Karim Jannat.
The winner of today’s game will reach the final. The losing team will play the second qualifier. You will have to play with the winning team of the eliminator in the qualifiers. Kathmandu Kings XI and Bhairahawa Gladiators will play in the eliminator on Wednesday at 1:30 pm.
