Police must be vigilant to control crime: Deuba
KATHMANDU: OCT. 6 – Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba said that Nepal could not remain untouched by the rising crime due to the high development of science and technology and added that Nepal Police should be vigilant to control such crimes.
Addressing a function organized at the Police Headquarters on the occasion of the 66th Police Day on Wednesday, Prime Minister Deuba expressed confidence that the Nepal Police would not compromise on the impartial investigation as an impartial investigation would be indispensable for justice.
Speaking on the occasion, Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand said that the Nepal Police has played an important role as an integral part of the government in maintaining peace and security by protecting the lives of the people.
