Four ministries for JSP, chair to pick minister
KATHMANDU: OCT. 5 – JSP Nepal has given the responsibility of selecting the ministers to join the government on behalf of the party to the party chairperson.
A meeting of the JSP parliamentary party held at Singha Durbar on Tuesday decided to give the responsibility of selecting the person to be sent to the ministry to the party chairperson saying that the party has been given the responsibility of joining four ministries, said JSP MP Raj Kishor Yadav.
He said that the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport, the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Federal Affairs and the Ministry of Forests are part of the party.
During the meeting, Chairman Upendra Yadav informed about the discussions held in the coalition on the issue of cabinet distribution. Yadav said that the party has four ministries and as there are many aspirants, the chairman has been given the right to select ministers on the basis of inclusiveness and evaluation.
Earlier, a meeting of the top leaders of the coalition on Tuesday had decided on the number of cabinet members.
