HoR meeting being held today

KATHMANDU: OCT. 5 – The meeting of the House of Representatives is being held today (Tuesday). The Parliament is scheduled to convene at 1 pm today. The Parliament Secretariat has stated that the agenda of today’s meeting is to present the annual report of the Constitutional Commission.

Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba is likely to present the annual progress report 2076/77 of the National Dalit Commission.

Though the main opposition party CPN-UML has been regularly chanting slogans in the parliament, Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota has been conducting the proceedings of the parliament.

Even today, there is a possibility of UML chanting slogans in the House and the Speaker is likely to take the proceedings of the Parliament forward.
