Group reporting is over, Oli answering the representative’s question
KATHMANDU: OCT. 3 – The first UML Legislative General Convention, which started last Friday, is coming to an end today. After party president KP Sharma Oli answered the questions raised on all the three proposals, the general convention is coming to an end today.
Group reporting has been completed at the ongoing general convention at Godawari Conference Center in Lalitpur. Now, Chairman Oli is responding with a timely briefing. According to leader Bishal Bhattarai, the group discussion on politics, organizational and legislative amendment reports has ended.
According to Bhattarai, in the morning, the leaders of State 1, 2 and Gandaki State as well as groups of people’s organizations had announced the outcome of their group discussions. At the same time, the reporting of the group discussion has been completed.
Devraj Ghimire from State 1, Jwala Sah from State 2 and Jagat Bahadur Bishwakarma from Gandaki State group presented the findings of the group. Similarly, Sunita Baral, chairperson of ANNFSU, on behalf of the people’s organization, reported on the group discussion.
Now the delegates are having dinner. Bhattarai said that Chairman Oli would answer the questions raised by the delegates after the meal. He said, “With this, the general convention will end.”
On the second day, all the three reports were discussed in 10 groups yesterday. During the discussion, most of them had suggested that the number of vice-chairmen should be seven and the deputy general secretary and politburo should be maintained. Some leaders of such groups had suggested the leadership to implement a one-post policy in the party.
