Shrestha elected in Food Grocery and Wholesalers Association

KATHMANDU: OCT. 3 – Entrepreneur Devendra Bhakta Shrestha has been elected as the president of Nepal Food Grocery and Wholesale Entrepreneurs Association. The general assembly of the association held on Saturday has selected a new working committee under the chairmanship of Shrestha.

According to the association, Tanka Prasad Sherchan has been elected as the vice president, Om Prakash Bansal as the general secretary and Deepak Kumar Fanju as the secretary. Similarly, Naresh Kumar Goyal has been elected as treasurer and Manoj Kumar Gupta as co-treasurer said, Chairman Shrestha.

Founded in 2047 BS with the slogan of “Need for Food, Unity of All Entrepreneurs”, the association has been working in the field of rights and interests of food and grocery and wholesalers.

Shrestha said that the association is committed to providing daily necessities to general consumers at affordable prices. He opined that the state should facilitate the sale and distribution of consumer goods.
