The Central Committee of Akhil (Revolutionary) will have 199 members

KATHMANDU: OCT. 2 – Akhil (Revolutionary) has made an organizational proposal to elect a 199-member central committee with 25 members. The proposal was made in a closed session of the 22nd National Conference of Krantikari which started on Thursday, said Surendra Basnet, coordinator of the campaign committee.

The conference will elect a chairperson, three open vice-chairpersons, four inclusive vice-chairpersons, one general secretary, two deputy general secretaries, eight secretaries from the states, five inclusive secretaries and a treasurer.

In today’s session, CPN-Maoist leaders Narayan Kaji Shrestha, Dev Prasad Gurung and Shakti Bahadur Basnet imparted training on contemporary political issues and educational issues and movements to be embraced by the revolutionaries.

Earlier, in a closed session, chairperson Ranjit Tamang dissolved the organizing committee of the 22nd National Conference and formed a nine-member praesidium comprising Milan MC, Kshitij Sapkota, Suman Thulung, Bir Bahadur Thapa, Pema Lama, Bhola Yadav, Samana Shrestha, Jagriti Poudel and Nagma Mali.

Chairman Tamang has presented a political and organizational report in the closed session hall. According to Akhil (Revolutionary), 11 groups have been formed in different districts to discuss the report.
