Earthquake hit at Jethal in Sindhupalchowk

KATHMANDU: OCT. 1 – The epicentre was reported at Jethal in Sindhupalchowk district. According to the National Earthquake Measurement and Research Center, the quake measuring 4.2 on the Richter scale struck Jethal at 12.54 pm.

The epicentre was reported below the Gorkha plateau, according to the US Geological Survey.

After the catastrophic earthquake on April 25, 2015, 559 aftershocks above 4 magnitudes have hit Nepal so far.
