Delegates reach Godawari for Legislative Assembly [Photos]

KATHMANDU: OCT. 1 – Legislative general convention of the main opposition CPN-UML is starting. For the first time after the split of the CPN (Maoist), exit from power and split of the party, a large gathering of the UML is about to take place.

UML has stated that the three-day Legislative General Convention to be held in Godawari of Lalitpur in the presence of 6,000 delegates will discuss the issue of restoring the power loss after the split of the CPN (Maoist) and decide the party’s policy and method in the new political situation.

Delegates are now arriving at the Sunrise Conference Center in the Godawari. Chairman KP Sharma Oli is scheduled to inaugurate the Legislative Assembly shortly.
