No restrictions on activities conducted with health standards: Ministry of Home Affairs
KATHMANDU: OCT. 1 – The Home Ministry has said that it has drawn serious attention to the order issued by Kathmandu and Bhaktapur districts on Thursday. The ministry said that serious attention has been drawn to the order issued by the chief district officers of both districts.
The ministry also said that the government has no order or objective to ban the activities carried out with health standards. The ministry said in a statement that “Government of Nepal has no order or intention to prohibit any activity within the health protocol issued to control the constitution, prevailing laws and COVID-19.”
The District Administration Office, Kathmandu had issued the order saying that it was not allowed to carry out crowds, gatherings, processions, banquets and other activities in Kathmandu. The order has been issued with effect from Thursday. The government has issued such a statement as a counter to the same order.
