‘Scan to Pay’ service launched from Moco

KATHMANDU: SEPT. 30 – FocusOne Payment Solutions and Visa have launched ‘Scan to Pay’ in Nepal for the first time in collaboration with Nepal Investment Bank.

FocusOne Payment Solutions is a payment service provider licensed by Nepal Rastra Bank. Which has launched its mobile digital wallet Moco on Thursday.

Moco Digital Wallet is a new change in online payments by partnering with world-renowned Visa on digital payments. Where users can easily link Visa card details to their phone.

A merchant can start paying for a transaction by scanning the QR code displayed.

Visa card users of Nepal Investment Bank Ltd. will now be able to link their debit or credit cards to the Moco app to purchase and use various services such as telecom top-up, internet and electricity bill payments.

To avail of this service, the customer does not have to repeatedly load the balance in the digital wallet.
