As NEPSE continues to decline, so does the transaction amount

KATHMANDU: SEPT. 30 – On Thursday, the last trading day of the week, the share market (NEPSE) index has decreased by 32.51 points.

The NEPSE index fell 1.22 per cent to 2,633.42 points by the close of trading on Thursday.

The Sensitive Index fell by 6.41 points to 497.05 points. Of the 13 subgroups traded on the day, three subgroups increased while all other indicators declined.

A total of 73.21 million 14 rupees shares of 225 companies worth Rs 3.70 billion 29 thousand were traded on the day.

Share prices of Manakamana Smart Microfinance Financial Institution Limited, Nepal Finance Limited and Malung Khola Hydropower Project Limited have risen by 10 per cent on this day.
